Personal information the Site collects
When you visit the Site, it automatically collects certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.
Additionally, as you browse the Site, it collects information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. The Site refers to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
The Site collects Device Information using the following technologies:
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.
“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when sign up to our newsletter I collect your name and email address. You can ask us to delete this information at any time by choosing the ‘unsubscribe’ option in the emails I send or by contacting tom [at] steadydrinker.com.
How I use your personal information
I use the Personal Information I collect to contact you by email. I use the Device Information that I collect to help me screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how people browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Sharing your Personal (Device) Information
I don’t share your name and email address with anyone else. I share your Device Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, I use Google Analytics to help me understand how people use the Site – you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here.
I may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information I receive, or to otherwise protect my rights.

When you place an order through the Site, I will maintain your Order Information for my records unless and until you ask me to delete this information.
About the cookies the Site uses
This page describes what information they gather, how the Site uses them and why the Site sometimes needs to store these cookies. It will also show how you can prevent these cookies from being stored. However, this may downgrade or ‘break’ certain elements of the site’s functionality.
First party cookies are created by the website that you are visiting. A third-party cookie is frequently used in behavioral advertising and analytics and is created by a domain other than the website you are visiting. Third-party cookies, tags, pixels, beacons and other similar technologies (collectively, “Tags”) may be placed on the Website to monitor interaction with advertising content and to target and optimize advertising. Each internet browser has functionality so that you can block both first and third-party cookies and clear your browser’s cache. The “help” feature of the menu bar on most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to receive notification of new cookies, how to disable existing cookies and how to clear your browser’s cache. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, you can consult the information at www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/.
Without cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of the Website content and features. Please note that rejecting cookies does not mean that you will no longer see ads when you visit our Site.
You can prevent the setting of cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser (see your browser Help for how to do this). Be aware that disabling cookies will affect the functionality of this and many other websites that you visit. Disabling cookies will usually result in also disabling certain functionality and features of the this site.
